Etsy hands you a monthly statement CSV and leaves you to make sense of it. The Etsy Financial Tool turns that export into the number you actually wanted: what the month left you.
Paste the statement, read the year
Download your monthly statement from Etsy, paste it into Financial Import starting at the first warm row, and keep Etsy’s column order. Paste each month below the last — do not overlap them, because the totals count every row they find.
Financial Reports totals what you pasted by month: revenue, fees and taxes, other expenses, net, and the order count, with a year total at the bottom. In the worked example $116.55 of revenue across 9 orders comes back as $62.67 net — with $37.31 of Etsy Ads showing up in the expenses column, where a lot of sellers never see it. Change the year at the top and every row follows.
Your shop, alongside it
Alongside the import, the workbook tracks your listings and the shops you compete with — one row per listing, and competitor views, reviews, and favorites converted to a per-month figure using each listing’s age, so an old listing doesn’t flatter itself against a new one.
What it deliberately doesn’t do
This tier totals your statement by month. It does not attribute fees or profit to individual listings: for per-listing fee and margin math that is the Etsy Pricing Tool, and both live together in the Etsy Seller Toolkit.
Excel or Google Sheets, your choice
It runs the same way in Excel on Windows, Excel on a Mac, Google Sheets, and LibreOffice — every formula uses functions all of them share. The download includes a one-click link to your own native Google Sheet copy: choose Make a copy and the whole workbook lands in your Drive, formulas and all. Not a lossy import of a spreadsheet file — a real Sheet.
Nothing is locked. The formulas are visible, the settings are exposed, and there is no subscription. Own it, don’t rent it.
This tier totals your statement; it doesn’t do the per-listing fee or tag math. The free Etsy Fee & Tag Checker does both for a single listing — no signup — and the Etsy Pricing Tool and Etsy SEO Tool do them for your whole shop.
