General Questions

  • Who writes the Ardent Workshop blog?

Posts are credited to The Ardent Workshop Team. Most posts are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human editor on our team before publishing. We add specifics, fact-check claims, and pair each post with the relevant Excel, Google Sheets, or Notion template from our catalog.
  • What if I have questions or need support?

We are here to help. Please reach out through our contact page or via social media, and you will get a prompt reply.
  • Are updates available?

Yes. Any updates, improvements, or enhancements made to digital products are available for FREE to all purchasers of those products. To be automatically notified of updates, send us a note through our contact page.
  • Can I share or resell the digital products?

No. All digital products sold are for personal use only. Sharing, reselling, or redistribution is strictly prohibited.

Excel Product Questions

  • Can I edit and customize Excel products?

Yes, all digital products sold by Ardent Workshop can be fully customized. Excel products are password-protected to prevent accidental changes that might interfere with the operation of the tool. If you are proficient in Excel and would like to make changes for personal use (e.g., add rows, change column headings), you may unprotect the workbook with a password provided in the About tab.
  • What version of Excel is needed?

All Excel products are designed to work with the latest version of Microsoft Excel or Microsoft 365. They are not guaranteed to work in any other application.
  • Can I use these Excel products in Google Sheets, LibreOffice, or Apple Numbers?

An Excel workbook itself will only run in the latest version of Microsoft Excel or Microsoft 365 — Excel products rely on Excel-only features such as data validation rules, conditional formatting, and named-range Tables that do not translate cleanly to Google Sheets, LibreOffice, or Apple Numbers. However, many of our templates are also offered as a separate Google Sheets version of the same product, and several are sold as a Bundle that includes both the Excel and Google Sheets versions for one price. If you need to work in Sheets, check the product page or browse the catalog for a matching Sheets version or Bundle.

Google Sheets Product Questions

  • Can I edit and customize Google Sheets products?

Yes. Google Sheets products are copied into your own Google Drive on first use, and once copied they can be fully customized — rename tabs, change column headings, add or remove rows, and adjust formulas to fit how you work.
  • What is needed to use a Google Sheets product?

A free Google account. After purchase you will receive a copy link that prompts you to make a copy of the template into your own Google Drive. Google Sheets products run in any modern web browser and in the Google Sheets mobile apps for iOS and Android.
  • Can I use these Google Sheets products in Microsoft Excel, LibreOffice, or Apple Numbers?

A Google Sheets template itself will only run inside Google Sheets — Sheets products rely on Google-only features such as ImportRange, ARRAYFORMULA, QUERY, and Google-specific data validation that do not translate cleanly to Excel, LibreOffice, or Apple Numbers. However, many of our templates are also offered as a separate Excel version of the same product, and several are sold as a Bundle that includes both the Excel and Google Sheets versions for one price. If you prefer Excel, check the product page or browse the catalog for a matching Excel version or Bundle.

Notion Product Questions

  • Can I edit and customize Notion products?

Yes. Notion products are duplicated into your own Notion workspace on first use, and once duplicated they can be fully customized — add, rename, or remove databases, properties, views, and pages.
  • What is needed to use a Notion product?

You will need a free Notion account, which you can create at notion.com. Notion products will only work inside the Notion app or website.

PDF Product Questions

  • What sizes and formats do PDF products come in?

Each PDF product includes multiple page-size variants — typically Letter (8.5 x 11 in), A4 (21 x 29.7 cm), Planner (7 x 9.25 in), and A5 (14.8 x 21 cm) — so you can match the layout to your printer, binder, or planner. Many products also include alternate layout versions for different levels of detail.
  • Can I use PDF products on a tablet instead of printing?

Yes. PDF products work well in annotation apps such as GoodNotes and Notability on iPad, and equivalent stylus-friendly PDF apps on Android tablets, so you can write directly on the pages with a stylus instead of printing.
  • Can I edit or modify the PDF files?

PDF products are designed for handwriting — either on paper after printing or digitally with a stylus in an annotation app — and are not built as fillable forms. Print them or import them into your annotation app, then fill them in by hand.
  • Do PDF products require an account or subscription?

No. After purchase you receive the PDF files to download once and use forever. There are no accounts, subscriptions, or syncing involved.

Ardent Seller Questions

  • What is Ardent Seller?

Ardent Seller is our business management platform for small-batch makers — craft sellers, at-home bakers, digital product creators, and similar businesses. It handles inventory, manufacturing workflows, recipes and procedures, suppliers and customers, and sales analytics in one place. Visit ardentseller.app to learn more.
  • How is Ardent Seller different from your spreadsheet templates?

Templates are great when you are starting out and your data fits in one or two tabs. Ardent Seller is built for when your operation outgrows a spreadsheet — multiple product lines, real-time inventory across locations, batch production runs, and sales tracking that ties back to ingredient and material costs. Templates are a great starting point; Ardent Seller is the next step when scale demands it.
  • Is there a free plan for Ardent Seller?

Yes. Ardent Seller offers a Free Forever plan, so you can try the platform without a subscription. Sign up at ardentseller.app and upgrade only if and when you need more capacity.
