Effective September 27, 2026. This license covers purchased Ardent Workshop digital templates, workbooks, document packs, printables, and bundles. It applies to purchases made directly from Ardent Workshop and through our authorized marketplace listings, including earlier purchases. Free resources and Ardent Seller software have their own terms.
Personal, household, and internal business use
One purchase allows you to use, copy, print, and customize the product for your personal and household needs and for internal work within one business or organization. You may share working copies with your household and with coworkers, employees, and volunteers within that organization. Contractors may access the files only to work on behalf of that same organization; they may not keep reusable copies for their own business or other clients.
There is no per-seat charge or subscription for this use. A business, nonprofit, school, congregation, or other organization may buy one license for its own internal team. Separate organizations need their own purchases or a separate written license from Ardent Workshop.
Your co-parent or care circle may also share working copies to help manage your household’s affairs. If you buy a product as a gift, the recipient holds the license for their household and organization.
Completed outputs and client-facing documents
You may share completed outputs with people outside your household or organization, including clients, customers, advisers, and service providers. Examples include completed reports, schedules, summaries, quotes, invoices, forms, and letters. You may charge for your own services that produce these outputs.
For client-facing document and template packs, you may customize and deliver completed forms, contracts, letters, and other documents for a specific client or transaction. Recipients may fill in transaction-specific fields, review, sign, and retain those documents. An editable format is permitted when needed for that purpose.
This permission does not let you give clients or other organizations the reusable template, a blank template pack, the underlying workbook or calculator, or a template library for their independent reuse. Share completed reports or exported results instead of the reusable tool. If a client needs their own working template or workbook, they need their own purchase or an explicit product-specific or separate written license.
Product-specific permissions
Additional permissions explicitly included with a product still apply. For example, the New Homeowner Bundle’s client-gift license allows copies for the number of client households specified on the order. Its household limit and restrictions on resale and charging clients for the bundle still apply. The standard license does not increase the number of client gifts included in that purchase. Follow the product’s stated permissions for that additional use.
Keep reusable templates within your licensed group
You may not resell, sublicense, publish, upload for public access, give away, or otherwise redistribute the reusable product, in whole or in part, outside the household or organization covered by your purchase. This includes modified versions, blank copies, template libraries, and template-copy links. Do not package the templates as your own product or offer them as a competing download.
Keep shared working files and copy links private to your licensed group. Sharing completed outputs as described above is allowed.
Ownership and existing permissions
Ardent Workshop LLC retains copyright in the templates and supporting materials. Your purchase grants permission to use them under this license; it does not transfer their copyright. Your own data and original content remain yours.
This license expands the permissions on earlier purchases. It replaces narrower personal-use-only, original-purchaser-only, single-user, or blanket no-sharing restrictions in older Ardent Workshop listings, read-me files, guides, and workbook notices. Previously granted broader permissions and separately agreed written licenses remain valid. Other product instructions, professional-advice disclaimers, third-party terms, and refund terms are unchanged.
