A rotation grows sideways. Pairs arrive faster than you catalog them, half of them live in boxes you cannot see into, and the grail you have been after for two years is a note somewhere on your phone. This free starter is one spreadsheet tab: a row per pair with the brand, the model, the colorway, the size and the condition, and one column that says whether you have it or you want it. That single flag is why the rotation and the grail list belong in the same file — the pair you are about to pay over retail for sits a few rows under the one you already own in another colorway. Three counts along the top keep themselves current: pairs you have, pairs you want, and what you have spent on the pairs you own.

What it does
- One row per pair — brand, model, colorway, size, condition, a have/want flag and a notes column, with dropdowns so your data stays tidy.
- Keeps a live count of the pairs you have, the pairs you are still hunting, and what you have spent on the ones you own.
- Keeps the grail list in the same tab as the rotation — so before you pay over retail, the size, colorway and condition of what you already own are one scroll away.
- Comes pre-loaded with a small fictional collection so you can see it working, then overwrite it with your own.
- Opens in Excel and LibreOffice and imports to Google Sheets in one step — no macros, no signup, and nothing in the file ever leaves your computer.
- One tab, 100 rows, and no valuation — it counts what you type in; it does not look anything up. Cost per wear, a dated value history and the size call are the paid workbook's job.

This free starter counts your pairs and separates the collection from the hunt. The full Sneaker Collection Tracker joins the wearing to the money. Log a wear — a date and a Pair ID is the whole habit — and every pair gets a real cost per wear, with the Dashboard ranking both the pairs earning their place and the pairs still costing you. Each valuation is its own dated row that records where the figure came from, so a value can always tell you how old it is and what it was based on, instead of one cell you overwrite and can never audit. Rate how a pair actually fit and the workbook derives the size you take in each brand and silhouette from your own pairs, then calls the size on a grail you do not own yet — and says plainly when it has nothing to go on. Days since a pair was last worn are judged against the threshold for that pair's own role, because a beater and a grail are not the same question.
