The Performance tab replaces the gut feeling with the number: net profit and average return by platform and by category. After a few dozen sales it tells you plainly where your next sourcing trip and your next listing hour should go.
Walk into tax time with the numbers done
Marketplaces generally report your gross sales to the tax authorities on a 1099-K — and that gross is not your income. The Dashboard rolls up active inventory, sell-through, and your true net profit, then runs a 1099-K reconciliation that puts your cost of goods, fees, and shipping against the gross the platforms report. You walk into tax season with your cost of goods already totaled, so you can report against profit instead of the raw gross.
