Sticker Yield & Cost-Per-Sticker Calculator
Ask a sticker seller what one sticker costs them and you'll usually get the sheet price divided by how many they cut. It's a reasonable guess, and unless you're already loading ink into the sheet cost and counting your rejects, it comes out too low — for three reasons that compound: a printer cannot reach a sheet's edges, bleed and gutters make every piece bigger than its finished size, and some of what you cut will never be sellable. This free calculator does the arithmetic properly for one material and one cut — whole pieces across and down, how much of the sheet never becomes product, and what one GOOD, sellable piece costs after your own spoilage rate. Use it right here in your browser, or download the starter spreadsheet to keep.

3 across by 3 down, 9 pieces per sheet. 49.7 percent of the sheet never becomes product. Cost per good piece $0.1913, against $0.1856 if you divided by every piece you cut.
This costs one cut spec on one material, and stops there. It doesn't add packaging, your labor, postage or channel fees, and it doesn't do a material library, a listing costing grid, profit per design, a print-run log, or a break-even discount (the full workbook does). Nothing is saved. Pre-filled with an example — replace it with your own measurements. Every figure is illustrative; a business reference, not financial, accounting, or tax advice.

What it does
- Counts WHOLE pieces across and down a sheet or roll, after the bleed each piece carries and the gutter between them — because a three-quarters sticker is not a sticker.
- Shows how much of the sheet never becomes product, and charges a round die only the area it actually covers (a circle is 79% of its bounding square, so it wastes more than a rectangle the same size).
- Divides the LOADED sheet cost — stock plus ink plus laminate — by the pieces you can actually sell, so you get a cost per good piece instead of a cost per piece you cut.
- Shows you both numbers side by side, so you can see exactly how much the usual shortcut understates your material cost.
- Runs entirely in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere, and nothing is saved.

Want to know which designs actually carry the shop?
This free tool costs one cut spec on one material, and stops there. The full workbook keeps a library of every substrate you print on, carries the cost per good piece into a listing-level costing grid (packaging, your labor at your own rate, postage and channel fees), rolls profit up by design with best-seller and dead-design flags, reconciles every print run against its planned cost and yield, and gives each listing its own break-even discount plus the pack price that actually matches a single — a 9-tab workbook you keep (Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice) plus five guides.
A one-time purchase you keep and reuse across every design, every substrate and every channel — the structured workbook between a blank spreadsheet and a rented monthly subscription.
A business reference, not financial, accounting, or tax advice. Every figure is illustrative — measure your own printer's printable area and your own ink cost, and count your own rejects. Free to use; please don't resell or redistribute.
