Free Ski Pass Break-Even Checker
Every fall the pass sale ends, and someone asks whether last season's pass was worth it. The honest answer is a date: the day the lift tickets you did not have to buy added up to what the pass cost. This free checker finds it for one rider and one pass. Log each day you rode — the resort, whether it was a pass day or a ticket day, and what that resort's ticket window would have charged — and it keeps a running total of what your pass days were worth at the window, your pass-only cost per day so far, and the row where the pass paid for itself. If it has not paid off yet, it says how many more pass days it needs. It opens pre-filled with a worked season, so the method is legible before you change a thing. It's a taste of the full Ski & Snowboard Season-Pass Value & Days Log.

What it does
- Credits every pass day at the walk-up window rate you would have paid that day, and keeps a running total against the price of your pass.
- Marks the exact day your pass paid for itself — or, if it has not yet, how many more pass days it needs at your average day so far.
- Shows your pass-only cost per day so far, so you can see what each day on the mountain cost you in pass money alone.
- Gives one plain verdict — Paid off, Paying off, or Not started — in words, not just color.
- Opens pre-filled with a complete worked season for one skier — type over it with your own days. No email, no signup, no account.

The full Ski & Snowboard Season-Pass Value & Days Log answers it for every rider in the family at once, then goes further — the all-in cost of each day once fuel, lodging, rentals, lessons and food are in; a coverage grid of which pass covers which resort; next winter's passes priced side by side at the days you actually rode; a trip planner that prices a weekend before you book it; gear days-on-snow with service reminders; and season-over-season totals — in one connected workbook (Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice), plus a start-here guide, a worked-example walkthrough and printable day-log and trip sheets.
