People-Ops Readiness Scorecard
Most managers know roughly where their people-ops is thin. Almost nobody knows which thin bit to fix first — so the fix goes to whatever came up in the last meeting. This free scorecard makes that call for you. Rate twelve statements from 0 to 3, and it multiplies each gap by how much that dimension costs a small team to get wrong, ranks the result, and names the one thing to work on next. It opens pre-filled with a fictional worked example, so you can see it computing before you type a thing.

What it does
- Scores twelve people-ops dimensions — capability, training, coverage, key-person risk, onboarding, one-on-ones, goals, reviews and more — from 0 to 3.
- Weights each gap by how much its absence typically costs a small team — a considered starting point, not a measurement, and every weight is yours to change — so a heavily-weighted dimension you scored 1 outranks a light one you scored 0.
- Ranks the twelve and names your single highest-priority fix — the exact workbook that closes it — breaking ties by weight first, then by position on the sheet.
- Opens pre-filled with a fictional worked example and computes live — Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice, no email and no signup.
Own it, don't rent it
Know what to fix. Now fix it.
This free scorecard names the workbook. It does not contain it — that is the honest limit of a free tool. The HR Manager Toolkit Bundle is the twelve workbooks themselves, each a complete product that sells on its own. It also adds the rest of the People-Ops Command Center this scorecard is one tab of: a 90-day rollout whose every target date computes from one cell, an annual cadence calendar that flags a slipped cycle before you notice it, a shared team roster with a verified per-workbook paste guide, and a live dashboard.
A one-time purchase you keep — thirteen owned workbooks between a blank spreadsheet and a rented per-seat HR platform.
A self-assessment and a planning aid, not HR, legal, or professional advice. The pre-filled example company and its scores are fictional. A score or band is a prompt for a conversation, never a verdict on a person and never a basis on its own for a pay, promotion, discipline or termination decision.
