Single-Pair Mentorship Log

A mentorship pairing goes somewhere when it has three things: a focus, a few goals you can check, and a rhythm you keep. This free log gives one pairing all three on a single tab — fill in the mentor, mentee, and focus area, write two or three real goals with a definition of done, and log each session as Held, Rescheduled, or Missed. Download it, run one pairing, and see how the method feels before you roll it out to a whole program.

Take it with you — free, no signup

Direct download. No email, no account — just the files.

What it does

  • One mentor/mentee pairing on a single tab: set the focus, then give each goal a definition of done, a target, and a status from the dropdown.
  • A built-in session log — date, format, what you discussed, agreed actions, and whether the session was Held, Rescheduled, or Missed.
  • Comes pre-filled with a couple of example goals and a first session so you can see it working, then overwrite them with your own.
  • Opens in Excel, Google Sheets, and LibreOffice — no macros, no signup, nothing saved anywhere but your own file.

Own it, don't rent it

Running more than one pairing?

This free log runs one pairing on one tab. The full Mentorship-Program Tracker runs your whole program on one matching board, adds a Dashboard that flags who's on track, due soon, or overdue, a satisfaction check-in, and a Focus Library of ready-made goals, in one owned 7-tab spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice) plus four guides.

A one-time purchase you keep and reuse for every cohort — the structured file between a blank spreadsheet and a rented per-seat mentoring platform.

A program-management and record-keeping template, not HR, career, psychological, or legal advice. The example goals are illustrative. Mentoring notes are often personal — keep them the way your own privacy policy requires. Free to use; please don't resell or redistribute.
