Travel Tracker — Free Places-I've-Been Starter

Every trip you've taken and every one you're dreaming of, in one place. This free starter is a single tab where you log a place, note its country and year, pick a type, and flag it Visited or Bucket List — with a running count of the places you've logged, visited, and still dream of. Download it, fill it in, and keep it — no account, no signup. (Want your countries-visited count out of 195, a continent-coverage map, and a year-in-travel recap computed for you? That's the full tracker.)

Take it with you — free, no signup

Direct download. No email, no account — just the files.

What it does

  • One row per place — the place, its country, the year, a type dropdown (country, city, region, landmark…), and a Visited / Bucket List flag, with a notes column.
  • Keeps a live count of the places you've logged, the ones you've visited, and the ones still on your bucket list.
  • Comes pre-loaded with a small fictional sample so you can see it working, then overwrite it with your own.
  • Opens in Excel, Google Sheets, and LibreOffice — no macros, no signup, nothing saved anywhere but your own file.

Own it, don't rent it

Want the whole map, not just a list?

This free starter is one tab, and you type the places yourself. The full Travel Bucket-List & Countries-Visited Tracker comes pre-loaded with all 195 countries — already sorted by continent and region, so you just set a status — plus a live Dashboard that counts your countries visited of 195, your percentage of the world, your continent coverage, and a year-in-travel recap; a Trips & Memories log; a Bucket List tab; three PDF guides; and a one-click Google Sheets copy — in one owned 5-tab workbook for Excel, Google Sheets, or LibreOffice.

A one-time purchase you keep and reuse — the owned workbook between a blank spreadsheet and a rented travel app.

A personal travel log, not travel, safety, or professional advice. The example places are a fictional, illustrative sample. The country and region reference follows common convention and is not a political statement. Free to use; please don't resell or redistribute.
