Moving Week Countdown Checklist
The last week of a move is when the small jobs get lost — the freezer that needed defrosting the day before, the keys and forwarding address for the landlord, the essentials bag that ended up on the truck. This free printable puts that week on paper in the order it happens: 21 tasks from a week before moving day to a week after, each counted from your move-out date and pre-dated for a sample move so you can check your own math. What it does
- Lists 21 tasks in three sections — moving week, moving day, and the first week in the new home — soonest first, each with how many days before or after your move-out date it falls.
- Shows every task pre-dated for a worked example (a fictional household moving out on Tue, Nov 3, 2026) beside a blank column for your own date, so the arithmetic is never a guess.
- Tags the tasks that only apply to some moves — if you hired movers, if you're driving a rental truck, if you're renting the new place — so you can skip the ones that don't fit yours.
- Adds a 20-item keep-with-you essentials bag checklist: the things to keep with you, not on the truck.
