Cake Servings Chart — Round, Square & Sheet
A cake servings chart answers one question: how many servings a given cake size gives, and which tier stack covers the guest count you were just quoted. This is that chart, printed properly — 19 sizes across round, square and sheet cake, each one at a party portion and at a wedding portion, beside 14 standard tier stacks and the guest count each one is sized for. Nothing here is copied from anyone's published chart: every count is the cake's own top area divided by the slice size shown, rounded down.

What it does
- Servings for 19 cake sizes: 11 round from 4 to 16 inches, 5 square from 6 to 14 inches, and quarter (9x13), half (12x18) and full (18x26) sheets.
- Wedding cake servings beside party portions in the same row — an 8 inch round is 16 or 25, a 12 inch round 37 or 56, a quarter sheet 39 or 58, a full sheet 156 or 234.
- 14 standard tier stacks with the guest count that sends you to each: 6 + 8 covers 17–25 party guests, and the table runs to 181 party or 271 wedding.
- Real worked numbers, not a blank form — every count on the sheet is already calculated, from the same geometry the paid workbook uses.
- Shows its own arithmetic: top area divided by slice size, rounded down, with the area formula for a round, a square and a sheet.
- The chart itself is page 2 — one US Letter page, sized to print at 100% and pin above the bench, with six cutting and sizing notes behind it.

You know the cake size. What do you charge?
This chart tells you how big the cake has to be. It says nothing about what to charge for it, and that is the half where a custom order quietly loses money. The full workbook wires this same table into a pricing engine: a guest count resolves the stack, prices the cake per serving from a flavor and filling list you set once, then prices all 28 design elements from their own preset labor minutes — editable starting estimates — at your hourly rate. It costs the identical order from the other end too, through ingredients, materials, production minutes and overhead, and tells you whether the quote sits below your cost floor, thin, or OK. It fills the customer's printable quote and logs every inquiry won or lost. Ten connected tabs in Excel and Google Sheets, plus five PDFs.
A one-time purchase you keep, quote after quote — the owned file between a servings chart, a calculator and a notes app, and a monthly subscription.
A free reference, not food-safety, pricing, tax or business advice. Serving counts are arithmetic from a stated slice size on a tier assumed four inches tall; real yields vary with the fill, the finish and who is holding the knife.
