- A machine-rate worksheet: (printer price − expected resale) ÷ expected lifetime print-hours, plus a maintenance allowance, gives the hourly rate your printer actually costs to run.
- A true print-cost worksheet — material, electricity, machine rate, a failed-print buffer, post-processing labour and packaging in one figure.
- A print-and-use filament spool log: gross weight − empty spool = remaining grams, with a reorder column so a long print never dies at 80%.
- A failed-print buffer you set from your own scrap rate rather than pretending it’s zero.
